“It has been an adventure with creativity at the helm.

We were given options outside of our experience and comfort zone learning to experiment with new techniques.”

MOBILE MUSEUMS

This is a new project in which we are inviting community members to submit virtual images for our Mobile Museum project.
Our goal is to share images from national and international publications with participants in our classes to expand knowledge of art and inspire ideas and connections.
Please contact us for information or to participate.

PAC Mobile Museums is inspired by a talk that CBA/PAC founder/director Annie Buckley gave on the exhibition, "@large: Ai Weiwei on Alcatraz" in our program at the men's prison in Chino. For more information on that talk, please see Buckley's essay, "A View from Alcatraz: For Ahmed Douma" on Los Angeles Review of Books.

RESOURCE LIBRARIES

Teaching Artist Resource: We have a library for Teaching Artists in the Visual Resources Center on campus at CSUSB. This library includes: books, magazines, journals, and more to support our teaching teams in creating engaging classes that draw on a diversity of art history. The resource library is available to teaching artists on site and online.

Mobile Libraries: We have created mobile libraries for three of our correctional settings. The libraries include books and magazines on art as well as our two primary textbooks, "Understanding Art" and Launching the Imagination." For information on donating gently used books, magazines, or textbooks, please contact us or see Donations.
