JP is a yoga and meditation instructor from Los Angeles and has been teaching with Prison Arts Collective (PAC) since 2017. Her main focus is on healing underserved and trauma-impacted communities. JP has certifications in yoga, meditation, yoga for trauma and Tai Chi Qong.
Episode 2 - Introduction to Bookmaking with Rachel, Otis Laboratory Press
Rachel is a book binder, letterpress printer, and teaching artist from Los Angeles, California. Rachel currently works as a lab technician at Otis Laboratory Press and teaches art at museums, schools, and other community organizations.

Episode 4 - Drawing: Sphere Study and Abstract Rubbing with Stan
Stan is a Lead Teaching Artist and founding member of Prison Arts Collective. While experiencing incarceration, the pivotal point of rehabilitation was when he found a paint brush and set of pencils. Stan’s art practice focuses on overcoming anger and dealing with trauma.
Episode 5 - Drawing Realistic with Josh
Josh is an artist based out of the Inland Empire and has been painting and drawing for as long as he can remember. To Josh, art is more than a hobby, art is a way of life and a tool used to heal the broken. Josh specializes in realistic drawings using gothic and horror inspired imagery.
Episode 6 - Paper Weaving Collage with Rachel

Jess is a dance artist and educator. Her movement research began in childhood with competitive gymnastics and continues today with dancemaking from various, shifting perspectives and states of body~mind. Her dances are expressions of her engagement in paradox, contemplative and somatic practices, Integral theory, and reverence for those within whose lineages she moves.
Episode 9 - Drawing a Mandala with Diane
Diane is a ceramic artist, graphic designer and garden designer currently based in Los Angeles. When Diane isn’t creating ceramics, she is busy helping people plan and install drought tolerant and water-wise gardens.

Episode 13 - Paper Flowers with Ezequiel
Ezequiel is a visual artist (painter, writer, expressive actor, and crafter) based in Tecate Baja California, Mexico. He started painting eight years ago while serving a 23-year sentence at the California Institution for Men in Chino, California.
Since his release, he has focused on teaching kids in his community and providing affordable art classes to underprivileged families.
Episode 14 - Paper Jewelry with Erin
Erin is a metalsmith, small business entrepreneur, and teaching artist from Eureka, California with an interest in nature and sustainability. Erin is currently a graduate student at the Massachusetts College of Art and Design and is also the Instructional Support Assistant for the Jewelry Studio at Humboldt State University as well as the Advisor for the Jewelry and Small Metals Club.
Episode 15 - Interpreting Poetry with Madeline
Madeline Hoff has a sensibility for bonding color and texture through her own design narratives, and actively practices cross-disciplinary art such as painting, drawing, photography, and film making on top of clothing design. She has worked for design houses such as Gallery Dept, Alexander Wang, Michael Kors, and Roberta Einer, as well as alongside Costume Designer, Jacqueline Durran.
